Membership and Support
Membership is for the calendar year (January through December). Membership dues received after October 1 will be credited for the following year unless otherwise specified.
We encourage our members to wear name badges at meetings and on field trips. The purchase of a name badge is optional, and the cost is not included in the membership dues. Badges can be bought for $1.00 each at meetings; the cost is $3.00 to have them mailed.

BECKHAM BIRD CLUB DUES SCHEDULE
At the Annual Meeting on May 14, 2024, the BBC membership voted to adopt the schedule of dues below, effective January 1, 2025.

Dues may be paid online via PayPal or by check. IF PAYING WITH PAYPAL, PLEASE CONSIDER INCREASING YOUR PAYMENT BY A DOLLAR OR TWO. THIS WILL OFFSET THE FEE - AROUND $1 or $2, DEPENDING ON THE MEMBERSHIP CATEGORY - THAT PAYPAL CHARGES FOR EVERY TRANSACTION.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Dues payments in excess of the amount for the membership category specified will be deposited into the general fund unless otherwise designated by the member making the payment. In other words, if you sign up as a contributing member at the $30 dues level, but pay $50, the extra $20 will go to the general fund, unless you designate for another purpose, such as Birdathon.
